Aviator Shearling

A cropped flight jacket with a detachable shearling collar — on for the highveld in July, off for the rest of the year.

The collar is real shearling on a hidden zip, not a stitched-in trim. Take it off and the jacket reads as a plain biker.

Hang on a broad wooden hanger — wire will mark the shoulders. Sponge marks off with a damp cloth and let it dry away from heat. Have it cleaned by a leather specialist, never a standard dry cleaner.
